Safety
Safety comes before
the cleanup.
Cleanup volunteers should only handle ordinary waste that can be safely collected with the equipment and instructions provided.
If something looks hazardous, do not touch it.
Step away, keep other participants away from it, and immediately inform the event coordinator. Do not attempt to identify, move, open, dismantle or dispose of a suspicious object yourself.

Waste handling
A cleanup does not
end with a full bag.
Future events should have an appropriate plan for the collection, transfer and disposal of the waste gathered during the activity.
Collect responsibly
Waste should be gathered using suitable bags, gloves and designated tools rather than left scattered around the cleanup area.
Arrange collection
Before an official event, the organizers intend to clarify appropriate waste collection and disposal arrangements.
Document the outcome
Future cleanup records should state what happened to collected waste instead of implying that filled bags were simply abandoned somewhere.

Is participation paid?
No. Participation in Zestafoni Forward cleanup activities is voluntary and unpaid.
Do you accept donations?
No. Zestafoni Forward is not currently a charity or fundraising project and does not accept donations or collect money.
How do I know an event is official?
An official Zestafoni Forward cleanup will be announced through the project's official website or official project channels. An activity organized independently by other people is not automatically an official Zestafoni Forward event.
What if I find dangerous waste?
Do not touch it. This includes needles, medical waste, chemicals, unknown liquids or substances, weapons, explosives or suspicious objects, dead animals, and anything else that appears hazardous. Move away and inform the coordinator immediately.
Is Zestafoni Forward a municipal service?
No. Zestafoni Forward is an independent community initiative. It does not claim municipal authority, government status or government endorsement.
